Anolis cristatellus

General description: 

Anolis cristatellus is a small species of anole native to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and associated smaller islands. Males of this species are easily recognizable by their caudal crests, supported by bony extensions of the neural arches, and dewlaps mustard or greenish yellow, with a free burnt orange to reddish free margin. Females have a well developed but smaller dewlap and a low caudal crest. (Savage, 2002)
